Sculptural cream bouclé sofa in a Dubai interior at golden hour with warm brass floor lamp

Collection VI · Upholstery

Conservation work, quietly done

Furniture,
reimagined.

From frame restoration to full bespoke builds — every piece is rebuilt for comfort, proportion and the room it is returning to. Fabric, leather and stitch all chosen with intention.

01 · The intent

A piece of furniture is often worth more after it has been properly understood.

The best upholstered piece feels inevitable in the room, as though it had always been waiting to become itself.

We begin with the frame, not the fabric. Upholstery is a slow conservation — stripping the piece back to what remains true, repairing only what honesty requires, then rebuilding with the right weight of cloth, leather, foam, webbing and stitch. Sometimes the piece returns to itself; sometimes it becomes the room's new centre of gravity. Twelve registers follow — from restored club leather to bespoke bouclé forms drawn from the architecture around them.

Sofas & Sectionals

Full reupholstery and bespoke sofa builds — classical frames restored, contemporary silhouettes softened, sectionals remapped for the way a room is actually lived in. Cushion balance, seat depth and stitching all tuned to the brief.

A sofa is the room's longest conversation with the body.

Dining Chairs

Dining and occasional chairs recovered in velvet, linen, leather and performance fabrics — stitched, padded and balanced so they read beautifully at rest and remain comfortable through the length of a meal.

A dining chair should feel tailored, not merely covered.

Headboards

Wall-mounted and freestanding headboards upholstered in velvet, bouclé, leather and linen — drawn to the width of the room rather than the bed alone. Vertical channels, plain tailored panels and softly curved silhouettes available.

A headboard is the quiet architecture behind sleep.

Lounge & Accent Chairs

Wingbacks, slipper chairs, club chairs and sculptural accent pieces brought back to their frame and rebuilt honestly from within. Webbing, springs and padding replaced only where renewal is earned.

A chair restored properly carries its history without wearing its age.

Ottomans & Benches

Window seats, foot benches, bedroom ottomans and low sculptural poufs upholstered with the same discipline as the larger pieces. Often the quietest object in the room, and one of the most used.

The small upholstered piece is where finishing becomes visible.

Outdoor Upholstery

Performance fabrics, marine foams and weather-ready construction for terraces, pool lounges and sea-facing balconies. Built for sun, moisture and salt, but still resolved with the same restraint as an interior piece.

Outdoor upholstery must survive the climate without looking designed for survival.

Banquettes & Built-In Seating

Breakfast nooks, dining banquettes, boutique café seating and custom built-ins — shaped to the room, scaled to the table and stitched to remain visually taut across long runs of upholstery.

Built-in seating succeeds when it reads as architecture first and furniture second.

Leather Upholstery

Full-grain, nubuck and saddle leathers selected for grain character, hand and the way they will patina under use. Best used where touch matters — club chairs, armchairs, reading seats and statement pieces.

Bouclé & Velvet Pieces

The most atmospheric upholstery fabrics in the atelier — undyed bouclé, brushed mohair, matte cotton velvet and silk-velvet blends. Reserved for the pieces that should anchor the room visually and materially.

04 · The process

From the bare frame to the last stitch.

Good upholstery is mostly invisible once finished — which is why the internal work matters most. We build every piece from the structure outward.

  1. 01

    Assessment & strip-back

We inspect the frame, joints, springs and padding, then strip the piece to what can honestly remain and what must be renewed.

  2. 02

    Fabric or leather review

An edited selection of coverings reviewed against the room's palette, intended use and the character of the piece itself.

  3. 03

    Workshop rebuild

Webbing, springs, padding, stitching and tailoring completed in the atelier. Bespoke builds and full restorations are pattern-made before final covering.

  4. 04

    Delivery & placement

Placed, dressed and reviewed in the room. We make final comfort and alignment checks once the piece is back in use.
